Free Women’s Self-Defense Training Hosted by Legislator Anker and the Suffolk County Police
Free Women's Self-Defense Class on Thursday, September 14th at 7:00 PM at the Mount Sinai Fire Department.
MOUNT SINAI, NY – On Thursday, September 14th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker will host a FREE Women’s Self-Defense Training Program in conjunction with the Suffolk County Police Department and Long Island Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The event will be held at the Mt. Sinai Fire Department (746 Mount Sinai-Coram Rd, Mt Sinai, NY) from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Participants in this free training program will learn simple and effective self-defense tactics to increase confidence and the ability to protect yourself in a dangerous situation. This class will not only teach practical self-defense, but will also cover numerous ways to avoid and navigate dangerous situations.
