Great Strides LI and Project 9 Line Host Family Fun Day At Saddle Rock Ranch in Middle Island

On Sunday, May 15, Great Strides Long Island and Project 9 Line are partnering to raise community awareness and garner financial support for their veterans’ programs, with a Family Fun Day. This event will be open to local community members, veterans and their families. The Family Fun Day will consist of fun family activities hosted at FREE’s Saddle Rock Ranch at 41 Coram Swezeytown Road in Middle Island from noon to 4PM. Adults and children will enjoy food, live music, vendors, hay rides, face painting, old fashioned games like sack races, horse rides and more! The highlight of this event will be their second annual Chili contest. Community business leaders are invited to make a donation to judge the chili making contest. Contestants will vie for the $150 prize and the Chili Champion Crown! The entrance fee will be $5 or $20 per carloads up to 5 people (veterans are free).
