Legislator Anker & Wading River Civic to Host Narcan Training

What:

On Thursday, October 25th, Legislator Anker and the Wading River Civic Association will be hosting an opioid overdose prevention program and Narcan training class. This class meets the NYS Department of Health requirements and includes training on how to recognize opioid overdose, how to administer intranasal Narcan, and steps to take until EMS arrives. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and an emergency resuscitation kit that includes Narcan.
