Long Island Sharks Youth Football League Safety Seminar

The Long Island Sound Sharks football league along with the Riverhead PAL are proud to host their 1st "Safety Seminar" on July 7th at 7:00pm at Defense Hill in Shoreham!

As part of the Sharks' mission to educate parents and provide our children with the safest tackle football experience, we will be hosting a seminar focusing on the safety precautions we take as a PAL football league. The seminar will include guest speakers from the SCPAL, Sharks' and Riverhead coaches, as well as a doctor specializing in concussion management.

Over the years, tackle football has seen a decline in registration due to questions and concerns of parents. The goal of this informative seminar is to educate parents that when tackle football is taught properly, it is a great foundation in teaching our children the values of teamwork, good character, sportsmanship, and discipline.

In the event of rain, the seminar will be rescheduled for July 8th.
