Man Charged With Selling Alcohol To Minors In Middle Island

The 20-year-old worked as a cashier at a gas station where he sold alcohol to an undercover cop, police say.

MIDDLE ISLAND, NY - A Bay Shore man was arrested for selling alcohol to minors in Middle Island on Monday, according to State Police.

Asim Khizar, 20, a cashier at Shell Gas on Middle Country Road, was caught selling alcohol to an undercover police operative during an Underage Drinker Enforcement Operation in The Town of Brookhaven, police said.

He was charged with first degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage.
