Motorcyclist Killed in Mt. Sinai Crash
BREAKING: The motorcycle collided with a telephone pole late Friday night, police say.

A 63-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a telephone pole in Mt. Sinai late Friday night, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, Joseph LeDeoux, of Mt. Sinai, was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle east on North Country Road, about 500 feet east of Grassland Circle, when he apparently lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a pole at 11:10 p.m.
LeDeoux was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
