Motorcyclist Killed In Suffolk Crash Wednesday Night: Police

The crash took place in Miller Place, police say.

MILLER PLACE, NY — A motorcyclist died in a Miller Place crash Wednesday night, police said.

According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place at 9:55 p.m. at the intersection of Route 25A and Oakland Avenue. A man was drivng a Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle west on Route 25A when he crashed into the side of an eastbound 2017 Toyota Prius as the driver was turning left onto Oakland Avenue, police said.

physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said. The female driver of the Toyota, 49, of Sound Beach, was not injured, police said.

No charges were filed in the crash, police said.

The Suzuki and the Toyota were impounded for safety checks. Detectives are asking anyone with
