Photos: Man Robs Suffolk County Bank

The robbery occurred Thursday afternoon.

Police are looking to identify the man who robbed a Port Jefferson Station bank Thursday afternoon.

According to authorities, the man entered TD Bank, located at 86 Nesconset Highway, and handed a teller a demand note demanding cash at 2:15 p.m. The teller complied with the demand note and the man fled on foot southbound through the parking lot towards Broadway, east of Old Town Road, police say.

Police described the man as white, in his thirties, about 6 feet tall, thin, with short brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing a flannel long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, dark-colored shoes, a baseball hat and sunglasses, police say.
