Rebuilding Together Long Island Presents at County Committee

Rebuilding Together Long Island aims to help seniors, veterans, the physically challenged, and low-income families with home repairs.

HAUPPAUGE, NY – On Tuesday, November 15th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker invited Frank Zambanini and Barbara Nielsen from Rebuilding Together Long Island to present at the Suffolk County Seniors and Consumer Protection Committee. Rebuilding Together Long Island (RTLI) was founded in 1992 and aims to help seniors, veterans, the physically challenged, and low-income families with home repairs and modifications. Repairs include carpentry, plumbing, weatherization, and wheelchair ramps.

“I am very grateful for the dedication and commitment Rebuilding Together Long Island has shown to Suffolk County,” said Legislator Anker. “Their work has benefited many families and truly demonstrates the impact of community-based organizations. I look forward to working with Rebuilding Together Long Island on future projects.”
