Rocky Point Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Rocky Point gas station Sunday night.

Police say a man entered the BP station located at 779 Route 25A around 10 p.m. He displayed a handgun, approached the clerk and demanded cash.

The clerk complied and the robber fled with unknown proceeds, police said. No one was injured and no arrests have been made.

The robbery comes two days after a Subway restaurant in Miller Place was robbed at gunpoint.
