The Rocky Point School District is pleased to announce that Rocky Point High School senior Max Marte has been named a Commended Student in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Max, an outstanding student and three-season athlete in golf, basketball and baseball, is recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated on his outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. He received a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Program.

The school district congratulates Max on this exceptional achievement.
