A commitment to academics was at the top of the list for eight Rocky Point High School students when they were honored by the Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology.

Alexa Downs, Ryan Fryer, Harrison Giordano, Ethan Kraebel, Annalisse Negron, Leanna Pavlicko, Sarah Shackelford and Matthew Wolcson, students at the Edward J. Milliken Technical Center, were named to the first-quarter Honor Roll for maintaining an average of 90 or above.
The Rocky Point School District congratulates these students for serving as role models among their peers.
