Fire Breaks Out At Setauket Home
The fire was called in at about 7:37 a.m. and it does not appear anyone was injured, Suffolk police said.
SETAUKET, NY — Firefighters were called to the scene of fire at a Setauket home on Thursday morning.
Suffolk police said they received a call at 7:37 a.m. about a fire at a home on Huyler Road. There was heavy fire at the front door and in the basement of the single-family home, according to a report by First Responder news. No one was injured, police said.
Arson Section detectives are investigating and have determined the cause to be "non-criminal in nature," according to police.
