Sound Beach Man Exposes Himself to Adults on Minibus: Police

A 26-year-old man is charged with public lewdness after police say he exposed himself in front of adults on a minibus in Ronkonkoma Friday morning.

According to police, Shawn Marshal Raghunandan, of Sound Beach, was seated inside a 1999 gold Infiniti when he exposed himself to adults in a minibus that was stopped at Route 454 and 13th Avenue in Ronkonkoma around 8:20 a.m.

The driver of the bus, which was occupied by members of AHRC, a nonprofit organization that provides programs to people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities, called 911 and Fifth Precinct officers located the vehicle a short time later and arrested Raghunandan.

Raghunandan will be arraigned at a later date.

The investigation is continuing and police are asking anyone who believes they may have been the victim of Raghunandan to call Fifth Squad detectives at 631-854-8552.
