SOUND BEACH, NY — A Sound Beach woman stabbed a man she fought with at a rest stop off I-95 in Fairfield, Connecticut, on Monday, state police said.

Troopers responding to a 911 call around 10:30 p.m. found the man bleeding profusely, and he was pointing to Kristin Allen who walked away toward the rest area and left while medical aid was administered, according to a news release.

The man had several lacerations to his right arm and leg, but the troopers stopped the bleeding by applying two tourniquets, police said, adding that the man told them the two argued, and it escalated into her stabbing him.
