Stay healthy during the winter.

This winter has taken a toll on our health. It is especially important to do daily exercises now.  The fluids of the body like the lymph (which takes waste away from the cells) and the inter-cellular fluid (which brings nutrients and oxygen to the cells) only move when we move. 
The cold slows us down and slows down these fluids. If we don't want our cells to stay bathed in waste and we do want them to metabolize our food, then "intricate movement" such as Tai-chi, Pilates, Yoga and Zookinesis are essential. 
The reason many people gain weight is that the cells are not receiving the nutrients to metabolize them and so these nutrients are stored as fat. We all know that aerobic exercise will use up the fat, but "intricate movement" which moves the body's fluids, is important as well.
In future posts, I will describe many of these types of exercise, as well as massage, and what they do for our health.
