Suffolk County Announces Marine Industry Job Opportunities

HAUPPAUGE, NY – On Tuesday, March 12 at 9:30 a.m., Suffolk County’s One-Stop Employment Center will be hosting an informational session about marine industry job opportunities in the county. A representative from the Marine Industry Revitalization Advisory Council will be present to discuss:

• In-demand jobs within the marine industry such as boat sales and services, finance, and hands-on technicians like yard and dock workers;
• College course and certificate programs tailored toward marine industry occupations; and
• Apprenticeship opportunities.
