Suffolk County Bank Robbed Twice in a Week

The robberies occurred Sunday and Thursday.

A Port Jefferson Station bank was robbed Sunday for the second time this week.

According to authorities, a man missing several front teeth entered TD Bank, located at 86 Nesconset Highway, and handed a teller a note demanding cash at 11:15 p.m.

The teller complied with the demand note and the man fled on foot.

Police described the man as white, in his late thirties, about 5-feet 8-inches tall, and wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans, work boots, a blue New York Yankees hat and wire-rimmed glasses.

TD Bank was also robbed Thursday afternoon, police say. Photos of the suspect in Thursday’s robbery can be found here.
