Suffolk Police Seeking White Sedan Involved in Hit-and-Run
A woman was seriously injured after being struck by the car late Wednesday night, police say.

CORAM. NY - A woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene in Coram late Wednesday night, police said.
According to police, the unidentified woman was attempting to cross Route 112 near Middle Country Road when she was struck by a white sedan that was traveling northbound on Route 112 at 11:48 p.m.
The driver fled the scene in the vehicle, continuing northbound on Route 112, possibly past Middle Country Road, police said.

The woman was transported by Coram Fire Department Ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she is listed in serious condition.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have any information about this incident, or about the white sedan, to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
