MINEOLA, NY — A 20-year-old man is in critical condition following a motorcycle crash in Mineola on Saturday, police said.
Nassau County police said a 42-year-old man was driving a 2026 BMW eastbound on Jericho Turnpike when he was involved in a collision with a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle driven by a 20-year-old man eastbound near Pershing Parkway at 12:31 p.m.
The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is in critical condition, police said.
The driver of the BMW remained at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing, NCPD said.
