MINEOLA, NY — Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman is expected to hold a news conference Sunday in Mineola to further discuss the nor'easter impacting the county.
He will provide updates on the storm's progression and discuss the emergency procedures being undertaken to protect residents.
On Saturday, Blakeman, who declared a state of emergency, expressed concern about flooding, downed wires, and power outages.
The news conference will begin at 12:15 p.m. at the ceremonial chambers inside the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building at 1550 Franklin Ave.
