MINEOLA, NY — A loud party with underage attendees led to the arrest of a Mineola man accused of supplying alcohol to partygoers under 21 on Friday night, Nassau County police said.
After officers responded to Fairfield Avenue for a loud party with people fighting at 10:18 p.m., police noticed a large amount of empty and open alcohol containers, police said.
Police said the majority of the attendees were under the 21-year-old legal drinking age.
"They advised officers the homeowner supplied alcohol and did nothing to correct the underage drinking at the party," police said.
Thomas Quinn, 53, was arrested, and charged with social host law, endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawful dealing with a minor, police said.
Quinn was issued an appearance ticket returnable to First District Court in Hempstead on Nov. 17, police said.
