Drug Bust In Montauk, 2 Arrested: Cops
The men had more than one eighth of an ounce of cocaine, police say.

MONTAUK, NY — Two men were arrested early Saturday in a Montauk drug bust, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, two men were arrested after a well being check led to the discovery of more than an eighth of an ounce of cocaine.
Steven Z. Garcia-Rivera, 24, of Montauk, and Henry Lackner, 23, of Montauk, were both arrested in a West Lake Drive parking lot on Saturday at 1:31 a.m., police said.

Officers responded to the address after multiple 911 hang ups, police said.
Upon checking the surrounding area of the reported 911 hang ups, officers located Garcia-Rivera and Lackner a 2011 Ford pickup truck, police said.

Upon approaching the vehicle, the officers observed the strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle's interior, police said.
Subsequent investigation led to the discovery of the cocaine and a small amount of marijuana, police said.
Both men were charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, with intent to sell, fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.
Garcia-Rivera and Lackner were both held at East Hampton Town Police headquarters while they awaited arraignment at East Hampton Town Justice Court, police said.
