Editor's Note: New Montauk Patch Site Officially Launched

MONTAUK, NY - Monday marks a big day, the day when Montauk Patch officially launches.

That's right — after years of anticipation, Montauk finally has its own site, a brand-new site dedicated to all of you, who cherish the magic of Montauk and all the natural beauty that abounds.

Montauk is at a crossroads, with the longtime residents and businesses still nurturing deep roots on its sandy shores, as well as a new wave of guests, from the hottest of A-list celebrities to families and their kids, flocking to the area to savor the dazzling array of tastes, sounds, sights and experiences Montauk has to offer.

And now, the community that cherishes this beautiful corner of the world has a site dedicated completely to everything Montauk. Montauk Patch will cover breaking news, what's new and exciting in local clubs and eateries, hot button issues such as taxi woes and beach erosion concerns, community events, including, of course, the annual St. Patrick's Day parade we all look forward to — and will feature a series focusing on the men and women who give Montauk its heart, character, and rich history and soul.
