Man Caught With More Than An Eighth Of An Ounce Of Cocaine In Montauk: Cops

MONTAUK, NY — A Montauk man was caught with more than an eighth of an ounce of cocaine, police said.

According to East Hampton Town Police, Richard P. Daunt, 27, was arrested on Sept. 16 at 1:17 a.m. on Montauk Highway in Montauk.

He was charged with fourth degree criminal possession of a narcotic drug, a felony, after he was found to have the cocaine on his person, police said.

Cash bail was set at $7,500, police said.
