Montauk Fire Department, Lions Spread Holiday Cheer To Seniors
Montauk seniors enjoyed a delicious holiday meal and celebration recently, thanks to caring hearts and kindness.
MONTAUK, NY — The Montauk Fire Department and the Montauk Lions Club spread warmth and holiday cheer recently, making sure that every senior citizen in Montauk who wanted one had a free, four-course holiday dinner.
The MFD's apparatus room was set up with communal tables adorned with holiday decorations and place settings, and members of the Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary and Montauk Boy Scout Troop 136 provided the expert wait service.
The room was filled with classic holiday tunes performed by Sarah Conway and the Playful Souls.
