Montauk Scouts Create Pop Up Family Restaurant For Dinner: Photos
The 16th Annual Prime Rib Dinner, hosted by Montauk's Boy Scout Troop 136, was a huge crowd pleaser.
MONTAUK, NY — Chief Vincent "Vinnie" Franzone and the rest of the Montauk Fire Department invited Montauk Boy Scout Troop 136 to convert the meeting room Saturday night into a pop-up family restaurant for their 16th Annual Prime Rib Dinner.
Local Montauk businesses donated goods and services to support the Scouts. Scoutmaster and Montauk Fire Department firefighter Sean Tyrrell guided the "waitstaff" in serving and clearing the many courses, from salad to homemade brownies a la mode, vanilla or chocolate. Bruce McCarthy of Montauk's own "3Bs" provided the music.
