Montauk's Free Outdoor Summer Concert Series Set To Delight

MONTAUK, NY — The fun is set to begin again: Another summer of free outdoor concerts on the Montauk Village Green and at Gosman’s Dockside Stage in the Harbor, co-sponsored by Montauk Chamber of Commerce and Gosman’s, is set to delight.

The series takes place June 26 through August 27, with concerts held on Monday nights on the Green in June and July from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and in August from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

On Sunday nights the concerts are held at Gosman’s Stage at 8 p.m., beginning on July 9 and running through August 27.

Two Wednesday night Open Mic concerts on the Green are scheduled for July 5 and July 26.

“Special events such as the free summer concert series drive visitation and the economy and add vitality to the Montauk community,” Laraine Creegan, executive director of the Montauk Chamber of Commerce, said.

July 5 — Open Mic with Ray Red, 6 p.m., Wednesday

July 10 — Black & Sparrow

July 17 — Ray Red Band

July 24 — Gene Casey & the Lone Sharks

July 26 — Open Mic with Ray Red, 6 p.m., Wednesday

July 31 — The 3B’s

August — 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

August 7 — Green Eyed Lady

August 14— Mike R. and the Dogwatchers

August 21 — Nina Et cetera

August 28- — Joe Delia and the Thieves

SUNDAYS at Gosman's Dockside Stage, 6 p.m.

July 9 – Nancy Atlas Project

July 16 — Lynn Blue Band

July 23 — Rhonda Denet

August 13 — Mama Lee Rose

August 20 — Zanti Misfits

August 27 — HooDoo Loungers

Concert-goers should bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers and picnics to the family-friendly performances, the Chamber said.

Downtown and Harbor area restaurants are ready for early dinner or call-ahead take-out suppers to enjoy on the lawn. Local businesses co-sponsor the concerts with the Montauk Chamber.
