Photos: Montauk Fire Department Organizes Drill At School

MONTAUK, NY — Some life-or-death scenarios seemed vividly real recently as the Montauk Fire Department held a drill to prepare for emergencies at the local school.

"These pictures are from our April, 2017 drill, which was conducted at the Montauk Public School. It gave us the opportunity to not only rehearse truck placement around the school in case of a fire, but more importantly, to give our members an opportunity to tour all sections of the school, invaluable in case of a fire," said Vincent Franzone, Chief, Montauk Fire Department.
