WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is warning commuters in Westchester about likely delays next week.

NYSDOT said the eastbound Cross County Parkway will be reduced to one lane between Exit 4 (Interstate 87) and Exit 5 (Kimball Avenue) in Yonkers, beginning Monday, July 20, at 9 p.m., through Friday, July 24, for roadwork, weather permitting.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a drivers license suspension.
