• Dog Tied To Tree In Mount Vernon: Investigation Difficult Without More Evidence, SPCA Says (dailyvoice.com) — A young dog was found tightly tied to a tree behind a billboard near South Fulton and East 5th Avenues in Mount Vernon, and city officials say investigating the case is difficult without more evidence or surveillance footage. The Animal Warden and SPCA are still exploring possible next steps, while the Humane Society has taken in the dog, now named Journey, and made her available for adoption.
