2 Officers Injured in Bardonia Bar Brawl
A Spring Valley man now faces 5 charges, two others are charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

The Clarkstown Police Department responded to the Lexington Bar and Grill on Rt. 304 in Bardonia on Sunday morning for a report of a large fight outside the location.
At around 2:40 AM June 21, numerous patrol units responded to the report of a fight. Units were able to quell the situation but two officers were injured attempting to arrest one man.
Police said Jason Cantave, 30, of Spring Valley, was fighting with another man when officers attempted to place him under arrest. He fought with the officers, causing minor injuries, and then escaped.

He was apprehended a short time later without incident.
Cantave was processed at police headquarters. He was charged with assault 2nd (felony), escape 3rd (misdemeanor), obstruction of governmental administration 2nd (misdemeanor), resisting arrest (misdemeanor) and disorderly conduct (violation).

He was arraigned in the Clarkstown Justice Court. Bail was set at $ 5,000.00. He was remanded to the Rockland County Jail and will return to court on June 24, 2015 at 1:30 PM.
The other two arrests stemming from this incident were as follows:
Jonathan Barnes, 29, of Garnerville, charged with disorderly conduct (violation) and resisting arrest (misdemeanor). He was arraigned in the Clarkstown Justice Court. He was released and will return to court on June 24, 2015 at 1:30 PM.
Paul Pierrilus, 34, of Spring Valley, charged with disorderly conduct (violation) and resisting arrest (misdemeanor). He was arraigned in the Clarkstown Justice Court. Bail was set at $500.00. He was remanded to the Rockland County Jail and will return to court on June 24, 2015 at 1:30 PM.
