After-School Activities Canceled In Nanuet

Many school districts across the region are making announcements about schedules in anticipation of the coming storm. Here's information about districts in Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester:

• Bedford: all programs from 6 p.m. onward Tuesday are canceled
• Brewster: All schools are on a one-hour early dismissal: Brewster HS: 1:29 HH Wells MS: 1:36 CV Starr: 2:15 JFK Elementary: 2:30 p.m.
• Carmel: schools will dismiss 1 hour early today due to the uncertainty of the start time of the impending storm. After-school activities are canceled.
• Chappaqua: all programs from 6 p.m. onward Tuesday are canceled
• Clarkstown: afternoon and and evening programs canceled
• Garrison: after-school programs are canceled
• Haldane: after-school programs are canceled. Board meeting and public hearing are rescheduled for Thursday
• Lakeland: afternoon and evening programs canceled
• Nanuet: afternoon and evening programs canceled
• North Rockland: Early dismissal. All after-school programs canceled. The Board of Education Meeting for tonight has been moved up to 6 PM.
• Nyack: afternoon and evening programs canceled
• Peekskill: after-school activities and Board of Education meeting canceled
• Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES: after-school and evening activities, programs and meetings are canceled.
• Rockland BOCES: evening adult ed classes and night school canceled
• South Orangetown: afternoon and evening programs canceled
