The owner of the location called Clarkstown Police Department on August 28, to report that 6 of the air conditioning units on the roof of his building had been destroyed by unknown suspects. The suspect dismantled the air conditioning units by removing the copper piping found inside the unit. It is believed that the copper piping was then going to be traded in for cash at a scrap metal business.

The result of the damage exceeded $100,000 in repairs, police said.
