Nanuet Bank Robbery: Cops Release Photos Of Suspect
Clarkstown police ask anyone who was near the bank or recognizes this man to let them know.
UPDATE — Clarkstown police have released surveillance photos of the suspect who robbed a Chase Bank branch in Nanuet Thursday morning.
Police were called to 61 Smith St. at about 8:45 a.m. Officers interviewed the bank staff and learned that a man presented a bank teller a note demanding money. The bank teller gave the man an unknown amount and he fled the bank in an unknown direction.
They obtained a description of a black man wearing a black leather jacket, light blue jeans and a black winter hat.

If anyone recognizes the suspect or was in the area of the bank at 8:45 AM, please call the Clarkstown Police Department at 845-639-5800 or send an anonymous text to TIP411 @rocklandcoda.

The Clarkstown Police Department is currently investigating a possible bank robbery at the Chase Bank on Smith St in Nanuet. Please avoid the area as there is an increased police presence. There is no reason to believe that the public is in increased danger.
