Bardonia Man Charged WIth DWI On Thruway

21-year-old arrested in 4 a.m. incident.

A 21-year-old Bardonia man is charged with drunken driving after he was seen driving erratically on the New York State Thruway in West Nyack, according to the Rockland County Sheriff's Department.

Robert Blumenfeld was stopped by a Sheriff's officer at 4:03 a.m. Friday. Police said that when Blumenfeld was questioned he appeared intoxicated.

Blumenfeld was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and he was also issued traffic tickets. He was taken to the Sheriff's headquarters in New City and later released pending a June 11 hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.
