Ever wonder what makes your favorite video games sound so epic? In this hands-on workshop, students will pull back the curtain on the art of game audio and discover how music and sound bring virtual worlds to life. We'll venture around the school to record real-world sound effects, then transform them into in-game audio using music production software and MIDI controllers - all while playing classic video games on the big screen! Students will also try their hand at composing an original score for a game scene, learning how music sets the mood, whether you're exploring a dungeon, racing to the finish line, or facing the final boss. Wednesday Games
Doors open at 5:40 pm and play starts at 7:30 pm. Bingo games are open to the public.
Packages are priced at $42, $35 and $25 plus $3 admission. They contain nine games with other games available for purchase including Pull Tabs, Quickies, two progressive bonanza jackpots and nightly specials. Games end at approximately 10 pm.
All game boards are paper with electronic verification. Pre-packaged snacks, beverages and bingo supplies are available for purchase.

Bingo is played in Beth Am Temple’s climate-controlled, ground-level social hall which has cushioned seating. The room is brightly lit and has its own sound system. The building is handicapped accessible with a well-lit parking lot.

The Nyack Famous Street Fair will be returning on Sunday, May 17 from 10 to 5 in downtown Nyack. This is the ultimate shopping and dining event you do not want to miss. The fair features over three hundred exhibitors, from four states with arts, crafts, new retail, home décor, and unique gifts set up in tents lining Main, Broadway and Cedar Streets. For the foodie’s festival foods of all kinds will be available including food trucks. Music will be located at the Gazebo on Main Street. Be sure to stop by the great restaurants and outdoor cafes with many offering fair specials. Nyack’s unique shops and boutiques are a must see.
