Candidates Waiting For Election Results After Polls Close

Candidates in today's elections in Rockland County are now anxiously watching as results come in.

Legislative race results coming in at different paces.

Legislator Ed Day, District 5 is uncontested wth 22 percent of the vote and 267 votes. 

With polls closed since 9 p.m., results are coming in on the Rockland County Board of Elections website.

Many Democrats are gathering at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Suffern, while many Republicans are awaiting election results at the Comfort Inn in Nanuet.
