Thursday - Christmas Early Getaway:
Metro-North Hudson Line trains will operate the current weekday schedule, plus an early getaway train to Tarrytown departing Grand Central at 1:50 p.m. The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will coordinate.

Friday - Christmas Eve:
- TOR buses will operate regular service on Friday, December 24th
- TRIPS paratransit buses will operate regular service.
- Coach USA Rockland Coaches buses will operate current weekday service.
- Coach USA Shortline will operate weekend service.
- Coach USA (Exit 14) Express will operate limited service.
- Hudson Link buses will operate regular service.
- Monsey Trails buses will operate Holiday service. www.monseytrails.com
- Clarkstown MiniTrans buses will operate weekday service.
- Metro-North Hudson Line trains will operate Saturday service, with extra morning and evening
- trains. Port Jervis Line trains will operate weekend service.
- NJT Main/Bergen Line and Pascack Valley trains will operate weekend service.
- The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will coordinate with Metro-North Hudson Line train schedules.
Saturday - Christmas Day:
- TOR buses will operate Sunday service on routes 59, 91, 92, 93, and Loop 3; with no service on routes 94, 95, 97, Loop 1 and Loop 2.
- TRIPS paratransit buses will operate ADA-only service.
- Coach USA Rockland Coaches buses will not operate on Christmas Day.
- Coach USA Shortline will operate weekend service.
- Coach USA (Exit 14) Express will not operate.
- Hudson Link buses will operate weekend service on Christmas Day.

- Government offices are closed both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
- Mail will be delivered as usual on Christmas Eve. Christmas hours are posted at each Post Office location. Some locations may have limited hours on Christmas Eve. Go to Find USPS Locations and enter your ZIP Code to check the Christmas hours for a specific location. There will be no regular mail delivery from the U.S. Post Office on Christmas Day. Priority Mail Express will be delivered Christmas Day.
- There is no UPS or FedEx pickup or delivery Christmas Day. Click on the links for exceptions and more information.
- Schools are closed.
- Public libraries likely closed both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Check with your library to make certain.
- Metro-North will operate its normal weekday schedule Thursday, Dec. 23. There will be additional early-getaway trains on all lines. On Friday, Dec. 24, Metro-North will operate on a special Saturday schedule with additional trains. For Saturday, Dec. 25, Metro-North will operate on a special schedule with hourly service on all lines and regular weekend service on branch lines. Bee-Line buses will operate Friday, Dec. 24 on a weekday schedule. There will be no service Christmas Day for Bee-Line buses in Westchester.

- Many shopping malls, including the Palisades Center, will be closed Christmas Day. Like many, the Palisades Center will have shortened hours Christmas Eve, from 9-5. Call your favorite store to see what their holiday hours will be.
- If you decide to dine out Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, or even get take-out, it would be advisable to call ahead to see if your favorite restaurant is open.
