Clarkstown Police ID Apparent Suicide at Palisades Center Mall

A Haskell, NJ resident apparently jumped to her death from the fourth floor of the Palisades Center yesterday.

The Clarkstown Police Department was flooded with 911 calls at 3:47 p.m. Police and EMTs rushed to the scene and then transported the victim to Nyack Hospital.

Police have identified the dead woman as 42-year-old Monika Taylor of Haskell:

The Clarkstown Detective Bureau is continuing the investigation into the circumstances of the tragic incident that occurred yesterday March 5, 2015 at 3:47 PM at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack. Monika Taylor, 42, of Haskell, NJ, died as a result of her injuries sustained from the fall. The preliminary investigation is leading detectives to believe that she took her own life.
