Class of 1971: Nanuet High School 40th Reunion

40 year is a long time. People move, change, get married. But for the Nanuet High School Class of 1971, they kept in touch with a 40-year Reunion this past weekend.

Organized by Darryl Brown and Babette (Ports) Wedler, there was a reception, buffet dinner and dancing at the Marriott Park Ridge in New Jersey on Saturday night.  There was also an optional Friday Night Pizza Party at Nanuet Restaurant as well as an optional Sunday Picnic at Nyack Beach State Park.

"People really make the event. What I was amazed at was how personalities don't change," said Brown, adding that the turnout was great. "It's really wonderful to see everyone. 60 percent of the class are here. We had 170 kids in our class."
