Convicted Spring Valley Trustee Given More Time To Appeal
Fonvil was found guilty in November.

SPRING VALLEY, NY — The former Spring Valley trustee who was convicted of stealing $11,000 from a day camp program will avoid prison for the time being. The sentencing judge for Vilair Fonvil has given him more time to appeal his conviction.
Fonvil was convicted in a non-jury trial in November and faces a maximum 15 years in prison, lohud.com said.
His next court appearance is set for April 24.
