Two local girl’s soccer teams were back in action Friday night, unfortunately both the Golden Knights and the Falcons lost on the road.

Yesterday’s Results:

Sport: Girl’s Soccer

Game: Nanuet @ Pearl River

Score:  Nanuet Lost 4-1

Highlights: The Pirates were led by Keira McMullan and her 2 goals in the home victory. Pearl River’s Casey Walsh and Marissa Scognamiglio also added a goal each. In the losing effort Nanuet’s lone goal was scored by Sarah Schucker.

Sport: Girl’s Soccer

Game: Albertus Magnus @ Nyack

Score:  Albertus Magnus Lost 2-0

Highlights: Nyack found the back of the net twice in the second half to defend their home against the visiting Falcons. Ifetayo Tyler and Hannah Yassky scored for the Indians as Jalin Cunningham had six saves in goal. In the losing effort Emily Motti picked up 7 saves for Albertus Magnus.

Today’s Schedule:

In boy’s soccer, Nyack will be heading to Albertus Magnus for a 4:15 meeting on the pitch.

In volleyball, Nanuet and Albertus Magnus will have 4 o’clock showdown in a Falcon home game.

In boy’s soccer, Nanuet will host Tappan Zee at 4.
