Eisenpress Defeats Chiaramonte and Riley for Family Court Judge (VIDEO)

Sherri Eisenpress, 49, beat Paul Chiaramonte, 55, and Karen Riley, 47, for Rockland County Family Court Judge

"Feels great. I'm really gratified by everyone's support throughout the county," said Eisenpress. "I'm glad it's over."

Results from elections officials in Rockland show Eisenpress winning with 26,214 votes, Chiaramonte with 20,088 votes and Riley with 6,590. In Rockland County, 52,926 voters participated in Tuesday's Family Court Judge vote, according to Board of Elections statistics.

"I speak from the heart," Chiaramonte said after his loss. "I speak the facts."

He said he thought he did well for a newcomer who was outspent by $200,000. 

Eisenpress graduated from New York Law School in 1989 Magna Cum Laude. her undergraduate work was completed at New York University, where she received a B.A. in Political Science in 1984.
