Developer Suing Spring Valley Over Property

SPRING VALLEY, NY — The Village of Spring Valley wants to take over a Main Street property because the builder didn't finish building the structure. The developer is suing to stop the action.

Developer Larry Weinstein said the village administration is violating his rights in order to obtain the property for a housing project and keep millions of dollars in federal funding, the Journal News said.

Spring Valley, earlier this year, took legal action to re-claim the Post Office Square building and property, which is at the corner of North Main and West Church streets.
