Did You Help The Highview Playground? See Who Did
The playground still needs your help. There are many ways to pitch in. Go to HighviewPlayground.com for more info

The Highview Playground build is pretty much done under the watchful eye of Build Chair Dominick Caponigro of DJC Enterprises. All that's left is some crossing of the T's and dotting of the I's. Along the way, many people and businesses have dug deep in their pockets to help out.
"The steering committee appreciates everything that the community has done so we've updated the website to give our sponsors a pat on the back," said CJ Bottitta, vice president. "Go check out to see which one of your neighbors and businesses helped make this dream a reality for our kids."
On the newly re-vamped site—designed and donated by Nanuet resident Don Habas, owner of Big Shot Solutions, Inc.—is a page acknowledging component sponsors. They've sponsored everything from trees and benches to slides and swings. Don't miss out, there are still items left to be sponsored. A turret and peak were salvaged from the original playground and all component sponsors will be recognized on a donor board to go on this turret. There are six sponsorship levels depending on contribution:

The second addition to the site is a place to go see everyone that has bought a brick paver. These engraved bricks will be installed in the spring and are still being sold. "It's not too late so buy yours today and join the many others to be remembered," said Bottitta.
The last new shout out page on the website is for those who fed us. During the October build, volunteers worked from sun up to sundown and plus some. People have to eat though and Food Chair Kathryn Purvis, along with her volunteer committee were able to get these businesses to come through with food donations to feed Highview's hungry. Go see if the business you frequent was one of these playground supporters.

"We've come this far and we're almost there, but still need more financial support from the community," said Bottitta. "Whether you want to buy a brick, sponsor a component or even if you just want to just donate, please help us complete this amazing playground."
