Drainage and Safety Project at Stella Drive and the Palisades Parkway: Comment Period Closes Friday

NEW SQUARE, NY — The state proposes to do work at the Palisades Parkway in New Square, and is soliciting comments.

The project is to reconstruct a drainage ditch located near Stella Drive. Improvements include clearing, widening and deepening about 1,100 linear feet of the ditch. Also, a four-foot wall will be built alongside the ditch at Stella Drive as a safety improvement.

The public comment period ends at 4 p.m. Friday.

This comment period gives the public the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed changes to the NYMTC TIP. Comments should be sent in writing to the contact noted below by 4 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017. Olu Folarin Email: Oluseye.Folarin@dot.ny.gov
