Drug Arrest On Route 59
An officer of the Rockland Sheriff's Department found pills as well as marijuana, police alleged.

CLARKSTOWN, NY — Sheriff Louis Falco announces the arrest of John P. Gordon of the Bronx, New York. A uniformed member of the Rockland County Sheriff's Office was on patrol on State Route 59 in the Town of Clarkstown at 9:05 p.m. July 25 when he observed a vehicle in violation of the vehicle and traffic law.
The officer conducted a traffic stop on the car, which Gordon was driving. During the traffic stop Gordon was found to be in possession of more than 8 ounces of marijuana as well as pills, which field tested positive for the presence of MDMA, police alleged.
The 32-year-old was processed and released with appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Clarkstown Justice Court on Aug. 12.
