Dry, Then Approaching Storm: Nanuet's Work Week Weather

Make the most out of the first part of the week. Here's what you need to know weather-wise for Nanuet.

NANUET, NY — Enjoy the dry and relatively mild temperatures for the first half of the work week, because wet weather will return beginning Thursday. For most of the region, the nor’easter will be a rain event. However, in the mid-Hudson Valley there could be some snow, which will turn to rain and then back into snow.

Flooding might also be a problem, since we are coming off of a particularly wet February.

And let’s throw a full moon on March 1 into the mix, shall we?

“The combination of the proximity of the full moon and strong onshore flow will lead to coastal flooding at times of high tide,” said AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Alex Sosnowski.

Here is the forecast from the National Weather Service for the work week in Rockland County.
