Fishcakes and the Frid Daddies to perform at the 76 House.

After their premeir performance at the 76 House in March, Fishcakes and the Fried Daddies will be performing once again at the 76 House, the oldest Tavern in New York State, located at 110 Main Stret in Tappan, NY on Friday, June 22nd at 8pm.

Fishcakes and the Fried Daddies play avariety of acoustic, swing and blues from the likes of Cab calloway, Lous Jordan, Fats Waller, The Greatful Dead, Professor Longhair, Lefon Helm and David Allen Coe. The band's music is a mix of superb old school instrumentals with tight vocal arrangements in a string band style. Simply put: It's good time music.

Fishcakes and the Frid Daddies in the brain child of Jon Farrell (lead vocalist and guitarist). John having a love for swing, blues and jazz put Fishcakes and the Fried Daddies togehther as a labor of love to share his amazing music with the NY/NJ tri-state area.

 

John came to NY as a composer peddling an ew musical, "The Country Wife" which had a sucessful off-broadway run. John also an actor could be seen in the Soap Opera Ryan's Hope , movies taht incldue "Rage of Angels, "Zellig", "Preacher's Wife" with the late Whitney Houstan and commericals of r oOil of Olay, "Fuji film and Apple Computers.  John also toured with "Burlesque 87, improve comapnies and the "Pearlys" and English Music Hall troupe.  along with his solo act, John hs played wiwth the JC Jug Band, the AH Sophia Renaissance Quartet, and the River Rats.

Other members of Fishcakes and the Fried Daddies include: Mike Gallemore (vocals, lead guitar), Billy Jones 9vocals, mandolin, fiddle, harmonica, piano, ukulele), Vito Barbera(drums, percussion, vocals) and Vito Ardito (bass, vocals).
